I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
