I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
